Bradman Lake was recently selected to supply new tertiary packaging equipment to a major USA manufacturer of baked and snack foods. The order comprises two Bradman Lake SLCP Side Load Case Packers which will be linked to two Bradman Lake PAL Palletizers. All equipment for this order will be built and supplied from the Bradman Lake’s USA plant at Rock Hill, SC.

The Bradman Lake SLCP Case Packer is a monobloc machine, it will erect, load and glue seal RSC cases with shelf ready, tear away features and is designed to reduce material costs. The SLCP incorporates ergonomically designed guards, fully adjustable horizontal case magazine with powered case feed, Allen Bradley control platform and tool-less size change.

The Bradman Lake PAL Palletizers include many standard features, such as separate palletization programs for left and right pallet stations so it can run two formats at the same time, doors auto unlock when pallet is complete and operator access permitted, pallet complete beacon that warns operator when pallet removal required, palletization continues during manual removal/placement of pallets, internal light guards to protect operator during entry while machine continues operation, product is picked from a collator table, multiple products are aligned prior to picking for greater pallet utilization and pattern accuracy.
